Gay, lesbian and transgender men and women deserve a dedicated mental health professional. In my practice, I offer well-founded psychotherapeutic techniques to overcome the emotional suffering of adults and teens with anxiety, stress, trauma, loss, depression, self-harm, phobias and addiction. My goal is sustained long-term improvement in individuals suffering from a wide variety of psychological difficulties including bipolar, impulse control, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. I am particularly passionate about LGBTQIA+ life issues in today?s challenging world.
In addition to my focus on LGBTQ persons, I provide the unique benefits of EMDR therapy for all those suffering from phobias and stress-related conditions such as PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and panic attacks. EMDR can be a very efficient technique to help with these issues, with results often achieved quickly.
I offer individual and group therapy at my office in West Palm Beach. I foster a trusting, dependable relationship nurtured in a secure therapeutic environment.
I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Barry University and a Master's degree in Psychotherapy from Nova Southeastern University, both with honors. I received advanced training at the Fort Lauderdale Hospital, a dedicated mental health facility serving a wide range of disorders in people of all ages.
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist in the State of Florida (FL Lic #19011). I am a member of the American Counseling Association, the Florida Psychoanalytic Society, the Southeastern Florida Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology, FMHCA, and the Mental Health Association of Palm Beach County. In addition to my LGBTQIA-focused practice, I have volunteered at Compass Community Center in Lake Worth and at Inspire Recovery, an LGBTQ rehabilitation facility in West Palm Beach.
