Social & Support Groups at Compass
Compass' safe, state-of-the-arts facility in the heart of downtown Lake Worth is home to professional and therapeutic, support, social, discussion and health related groups. Many of our support groups are peer-led, which guarantees you'll be speaking to someone with lived experience who can relate to what you are going through.
Our groups are separated into two categories: Social Groups and Support Groups
Social groups focus on meeting other like-minded individuals and connecting with the community. Support groups focus on providing advice and support from facilitators and other members of the group.

Social Groups
Compass offers a large number of social groups for youth ages 11 and up. For a complete list of available youth groups and the times they meet, please go to the Youth Program by clicking here.
Compass Entourage is a community for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ (ages 18-29) who want to have fun, socialize, form relationships, and build a stronger community in which to work, live, and play. Entourage has events and groups every month. Come and join us at any of our regular meetings and be part of the group.
Entourage meets every Thursday from 6pm - 8pm at the Center.

Coffee Clatch at Compass is a social group focusing on the mature LGBT+ community in Palm Beach County, with the intent of providing an enjoyable environment for meeting friends, discussing interesting topics, and engaging in community projects.

Coffee Clatch
Coffee Clatch at Compass is a social group focusing on the mature LGBT+ community in Palm Beach County, with the intent of providing an enjoyable environment for meeting friends, discussing interesting topics, and engaging in community projects. Starbucks sponsors coffee and pastries for the hour of socializing, typically the first and third Mondays each month. We meet from 10 am to noon (most folks arrive early).

Join us in the Great Hall at Compass to enjoy friends, existing and new. After the first hour of coffee and conversation, we announce upcoming events or programs at Compass and then have a speaker present.

Coffee Clatch Book Club - On Zoom
Each month, the Coffee Clatch Book Club meets to discuss a new book. This is a virtual meeting space on Zoom. For information on how to join the book club, please email [email protected]

Support Groups
This is an adult support group for those who are older than 18. This group is for transgender individuals and their supportive family members. Meets every Thursday from 6:30pm-8pm IN-PERSON at the Center.

This support group is dedicated for individuals who are recovering from alcoholism. Meets every Tuesday 7 pm at Compass Community Center at 201 N Dixie Hwy, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460
A peer lead, social/support group for the parents of LGBTQ+ youth and young adults on the 2nd Wednesday and 4th Monday from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm.
A support group for people of all ages who are seeking or offering help with the coming out process. The Coming Out Support Group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the Month at 6:30 pm.
This support group is for those who identify as non-binary and would like a safe space to discuss their experiences with other non-binary identifying folx.
Meets at the center on Wednesdays from 6:30PM-8PM! All are welcome! (This is an in-person group.)
This social and support group focuses on the needs of those who identify on the trans masculine spectrum. Meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:15pm-7:15pm in-person. Please email us at [email protected] for more information.
An inclusive group for all LGBTQ+ women to get outside together. This group meets one Saturday a month.

The After Slay

Growing Pains
This support group is for individuals recently diagnosed as HIV positive. Meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm in-person. Please email us at [email protected] for more information.
Sewing Sesh
A social group for individuals to build sewing skills for their own clothes, performance outfits, textile art, etc. Future dates TBD. For more information on location and other details, please email [email protected]
Multicultural Support Group
Support Group for all culture without barriers, and discrimination. Our goal is to Motivate, Educate, connect with one another. Let's have fun and appreciate each others presence. This group meets once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of the Month at 6pm at Compass (201 N Dixie Hwy, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460)
