    • Signature Events
      • Palm Beach Pride – Palm Beach Pride is a two day, family and pet friendly festival that takes place in Bryant Park, Lake Worth Beach, FL on the last full weekend in March.
      • Stonewall Ball – The Stonewall Ball is the PREMIERE LGBTQ+ event in Pride Month. The Ball takes place on the last Saturday of June at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium.
      • Cocktails for Compass – Cocktails for Compass is our annual, invite only cocktail party at Club Colette on the Island of Palm Beach.

      • Youth Equality Prom – A free prom for all high school aged youth in Palm Beach County and the surrounding areas. Come as your authentic selves!
      • Legacy Project – The Compass/Palm Beach Dramaworks intergenerational story telling projects that highlights the stories of LGBTQ+ pioneers in Palm Beach County.

        The Compass Youth Group for LGBTQ+ teens and allies ages 14-18. 5pm-7pm

        Tuesday

        All Tea, No Shade Therapy Group is a closed group for youth ages 18-22. 5pm-7pm

        Wednesday

        The Compass Youth Group for LGBTQ+ teens and allies age 11-13. 5pm-7pm

        Thursday

        All Tea, No Shade Therapy Group is a closed group for youth ages 14-17. 5pm-7pm

        Friday

        Social Support group for transgender identifying youth ages 11-18. 5pm-7pm

      • Youth Social and Support Groups – The schedule is on the right, but click here for more detailed information.
      • Proud Parent Group – This educational group is for the families of LGBTQ+ youth and young adults. Resources including medical doctors and therapists are provided to answer questions.
      • Authentically YOUth – This educational group is for the families of transgender youth. Resources including medical doctors and therapists are provided to answer questions.
      • All Tea, No Shade Therapy Group – A group for those youth who could benefit from talking to their peers in a facilitated setting led by licensed therapists.

    • We Are Here to Help
      • Our Staff – Our Mental Health staff consists of a number of dedicated mental health professionals who seek to help support you and your needs. Click the link above to earn more about them.
      • Internship Opportunities – The Compass Mental Health program is committed to supporting incoming mental health professionals dedicated to serving the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and people living with HIV. Each year we accept a small number of registered interns as part of the mental health team. Interns receive individual and group supervision, training, and the opportunity to utilize and deepen their skills in service of the LGBTQ+ community and people living with HIV.

      • Individual & Relationship Counseling – Our team of licenced and registered intern therapists at Compass provides individual and relationship counseling with a focus on supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community.
      • Youth Mental Health – LGBTQ+ identifying youth face unique challenges. Our youth department provides an extensive number of support groups and youth services including therapy.
      • Support & Therapy Groups – Leaders and mentors from within the LGBTQ+ community lead support groups at Compass. Compass offers therapy groups based on community need, led by licensed therapists or supervised registered interns.

      • Mental Health Collaborative – The LGBTQ+ Mental Health Collaborative is a group of professionals within Palm Beach County who provide individual and relationship counseling services. The therapists who are listed on this site are licensed mental health professionals who are collaborating to assist Compass in providing affordable counseling to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community in South Florida.
      • Professional Development – The Compass Mental Health Department can provide training to mental health professionals who are looking to understand LGBTQ+ issues related to mental health. This information is crucial to understanding the unique challenges the community faces as it relates to your client’s personal, emotional and professional health and well being.

      • Outreach – Can’t make it to Compass? Find out where we’ll be in the community for testing or at tabling at events.
      • Safer Sex Kits – Safe sex is smart sex! Get your Safer Sex Kits at the center for free. No questions asked.
      • Know Your Status! – The best way to treat HIV is to never get it in the first place! Compass provides free, rapid HIV testing to anyone who wants it. Click below for more information.

      • Case Management – For 35 years Compass has served the community by providing vital case management services to those living with HIV/AIDS. Click the links below and watch the video for more information.
      • A History of Service – Compass’ origins started in 1988 when it was awarded a Center for Disease Control (CDC) four-year grant to provide HIV testing and education as the Stop AIDS Project of South Florida. 35 years later, we still provide life saving services for the people of Palm Beach County.       • Coming Out – Advice and support to help those who are coming out.
      • Gender Support Group – Group that offers advice and guidance for people who are struggling with their gender identity. For ages 18+.
      • Non-Binary Support Group – Group that offers advice and guidance for people who identify as non-binary. For ages 18+.
      • Positive Connection – Group for and about HIV+ Men. An opportunity for men to get together, learn and support each other.
      • Good Orderly AA – Support that is dedicated for individuals who are recovering from alcoholism. For LGBTQ+ people and allies.
      • Trans Masculine Support Group – This group focuses on the needs of those who identify on the trans masculine spectrum.
    • Social Groups
      • Entourage – Compass Entourage is a community for anyone who identifies as LGBTQ (ages 18-30) who want to have fun, socialize, form relationships, and build a stronger community in which to work, live, and play.
      • Coffee Clatch – Coffee Clatch at Compass is a social group focusing on the mature LGBT+ community in Palm Beach County, with the intent of providing an enjoyable environment for meeting friends, discussing interesting topics, and engaging in community projects.
      • Out and About – An inclusive group for all LGBTQ+ women to get outside together. This group meets the first Saturday of the month.
