The Compass Mental Health Collaborative
The LGBTQ+ Mental Health Collaborative is a group of professionals within Palm Beach County who provide individual and relationship counseling services. The therapists who are listed on this site are licensed mental health professionals who are collaborating to assist Compass in providing affordable counseling to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community in South Florida. These therapists have experience treating clients who are either gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, and they are offering services as independent mental health clinicians in their own practices. You may want to consider contacting them to see how they can help you meet your needs.
**The use of our directory, or of information received during an inquiry to locate a therapist, however, is voluntary. In no event shall Compass be liable for the voluntary selection of any therapist in this Mental Health Collaborative, or for the services provided by any of the therapists in the collaborative. If and when you do call any of these clinicians, please let them know that you learned about them from this website. Fees are negotiated with each therapist. Some may have special arrangements.

Insurance and Fees
Compass offers counseling and therapy services using a sliding scale, which means the cost depends on how much money you make. We work with people of all income levels, even those who have no income at all.
Right now, we do not take insurance, but we’re working on being able to accept it in the future.
If we can’t provide the type of help you need, we will help you find services in the community that can.
If you have private insurance or can pay the full price (or close to it), we may refer you to a therapist in our Mental Health Collaborative. In those cases, you and the therapist will decide on the fee together.
Most support groups don’t have a set fee, but we do ask for donations if you’re able to give. These donations help cover the cost of therapy for people who can’t pay.
Some groups, called therapy groups, have a planned schedule and focus on learning. These may have a set fee.
Mental Health Collaborative
The Collaborative's mission is to unite mental health and allied professionals, fostering mutual support and professional growth, all aimed at enhancing our ability to serve the LGBTQ+ community and people with HIV in Palm Beach County.
