      Theme & Dress Code

      Theme:
REDefined: The Art of Being Seen, Heard, and Felt
This year’s Stonewall Ball invites you to step into a bold, immersive experience that reimagines what it means to protect and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. Through visibility, voice, and connection, we honor the power of collective care. It’s a celebration of resilience—and a call to action to redefine what safety, advocacy, and love look like for us all.

      Reclaiming Red:
Red is more than a color—it’s a symbol of strength, passion, and revolution. Often used to marginalize or silence, we’re reclaiming red as a color of fierce visibility, love in action, and community protection. Wear red to stand for those who’ve been unseen, unheard, and underserved—and to declare that our identities, stories, and safety are non-negotiable.

      Dress Code:
      Elevated Red • Statement-Making • Sensory-Inspired
We invite guests to wear red in all its forms—from deep scarlet to radiant crimson. Whether you choose a bold gown, a tailored suit, or expressive accessories, let your outfit reflect how you show up for your community. Think rich textures and sensory details: velvet, sequins, leather, tulle, silk, or anything that makes you feel seen, heard, and felt.

Red is power. Red is pride. REDefined.

      Why We Celebrate

The Stonewall Ball, usually held on the third or fourth Saturday in June, is Compass Community Center’s biggest annual event. It’s more than just a celebration; it honors the history and strength of the LGBTQ+ community while raising awareness about Compass’s important programs and services.

For over 35 years, Compass has been a key support system for LGBTQ+ individuals and those affected by HIV in Palm Beach County. The awareness raised through the Stonewall Ball helps provide critical support for programs, including:

HIV/AIDS insurance premium and co-pay programs
